Zoya Naturel “Odette” – Nail Art and Review

By  |

Odette is one of 6 shades in Zoya’s Naturel Collection, which was released for Spring 2014.

Odette is a sultry, dusty rose-orchid color. I’m not sure if it was just my bottle, but the formula was much thicker than other Zoya colors. It made application a little tricky, and caused some pooling around the cuticles. On the plus side, it was opaque and wearable in only 1 coat. I applied 2 coats anyway, for longevity.

Though this is an extremely beautiful color, it just looked plain and boring against my skin tone. I decided to jazz it up with some stamping and rhinestones. I stamped with Konad plate M64 using Zoya Adina, then added 2 rhinestones to each of my ring fingers.

Since Zoya Adina is iridescent, it was extremely hard to capture in pictures:

Overall, I like this nail polish. The color is gorgeous, and since it’s a shade of orchid, it goes right along with 2014’s color of the year, “Radiant Orchid”. The only thing I dislike is the thick formula. But again, it may just be my bottle.

What do you think of the neutral trend for Spring 2014? Will you be rocking it?

I love this color! My daughter got it in her Ipsy bag and I can’t wait to try it.
